High Force Range
LDS® air-cooled & water-cooled high-force electrodynamic shakers are widely used for shock and high-performance vibration tests of extra-large payloads up to 5000 kg (11,000 lb), such as aircraft components, satellites, wind turbines, automobile engines, electronic assemblies and defence hardware.
LDS® high-force shakers are the preferred choice within the aviation, aerospace & defence, automotive, and packaging and transport industries, where strict standards and tight deadlines call for aggressive and vigorous testing. Designed for extended vibration tests, this versatile shaker is capable of imparting high sine and random forces for long, continuous periods. It is also suitable for low-frequency and shock pulse tests.
Applications:
- Three axis testing of space vehicles and instrumentation, including complete satellite systems, and telescope and telecommunication components
- High-force, long-duration testing of automotive components, such as engines, cooling and exhaust systems, and battery assemblies for electric vehicles
- Durability testing of aeronautics and defence hardware, including avionics, undercarriage components and aircraft engine subassemblies
- Structural dynamics testing, including SRS analysis, Test-FEA integration, and classical and operational modal analyses
- Testing in cleanrooms and controlled environments, such as aerospace test facilities
- Testing to military and other standards, including MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, RTCA/DO-160, DEF STAN 00-35 and DEF STAN 59-411

V8900 – 80 KN (8000 KGF) HIGH-FORCE SHAKER, AIR-COOLED
LDS ® V8900 is deal for the aerospace & defence and automotive industries. The shaker combines high forces, large displacement, a wide frequency range and up to 3 kN·m (2212 lb·ft) of overturning moment, making it suitable for vibration testing challenging, or unbalanced payloads and small payloads alike.
