MINIATURE / MODAL SHAKERS

Dynalabs permanent magnet shakers are compact, lightweight and powerful general-purpose shakers which can be used for modal and vibration testing. They have high DUT capacity despite their small sizes. DYN-PM-20 and PM-100 has an integrated amplifier and a sine wave signal generator where the frequency can be adjusted from 1 Hz to 12,000Hz.

Modal testing can be performed with modal hammers or shakers. If high frequency excitation content or signal controlled testing is desired, then modal shakers are the only excitation solution. Dynalabs modal shakers are lightweight and powerful modal shakers which can go up to 12,000 Hz and provide force levels up to 440N with a maximum 25mm stroke.

LDS® Miniature / Modal Vibration Shakers are designed to reproduce a vibration environment under controlled conditions. Although employed in industry, they are also widely used in educational and research institutions to study the dynamic behaviour of structures and materials. They are suitable for a variety of applications, ranging from laboratory testing of small components and materials to fatigue and resonance tests, as well as for use as non-seismic pickups, velocity transducers, or high-speed actuators.

Applications:
  • Vibration screening of small components and testing of electronic assemblies, such as mobile phones, medical devices, etc
  • Modal and structural analysis, including civil engineering applications like the testing of bridges and other edifices
  • Laboratory experiments and bench-top testing, such as separation and compacting of powders
